Covered 90% of my 32 rods, so was very well pleased. learned more than I thought I would. Well worth the cost.
Not much use to me as a means of identifying one rod from the other.OK, If you want to read historical info about certain rod makers.Definitely not a reference for those dealing in old/antique rods.

this book was a great help when we were cleaning out my parents house after they had passed away-My father had tons of fishing equipment and we saved money by not having it appraised. He was 97 and had kept all his old fishing equipment.

Lots of good info in this book. Really well written too. However, I wish it was in color, and had more pages. Kind of short and in black and white. Worth the price if you are a serious collector, but not a fantastic value.
